The President of the RA Chamber of Advocates Ara Zohrabyan received the head of the “National Bureau of Expertises” SNPO of the National Academy of Sciences Artashes Javadyan on 19 February. We get this information from the press service of the RA Chamber of Advocates.
The possibilities for signing a memorandum of understanding and cooperation was discussed during the meeting. Representatives of both the Chamber of Advocates and the “National Bureau of Expertises” expressed their hope towards the implementation of projects together, which will allow the advocates and the Bureau to increase the level of citizens` protection at judicial instances, as well as will inform advocates on narrow professional expertises.
At the same time, the “National Bureau of Expertises will present the RA Chamber of Advcoates all the types (subtypes) of the expertises, through which the advocates can independently apply and order an expertise.
The possibility of holding lectures by highly qualified specialists of the National Bureau at the RA School of Advocates was also discussed with the Director of the School of Advocates Simon Babayan. The parties agreed to work more actively in this direction and carry out the first steps of the cooperation within short period of time. As a preliminary stage, a study-tour will be organized for the attendees of the School of Advocates at the National Bureau of Expertises, so that they learn about its opportunities
At the end of the meeting Artashes Javadyan toured at the Chamber of Advocates, visited the School of Advocates and the Office of the Public Defender.
