The Chief Investigator of Shirak Marz Investigation department of the RA Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case on the fact of death of 24-year-old Zhanna Saribekyan.
On 8 February 2015, at 16:40 a call was received informing that the body of 24-year-old girl was found in one of the apartments of a building in Charents Street of Gyumri City.
The materials prepared based on the call revealed that Zh. Saribekyan, the 2nd year student of Gyumri Branch of the Art Academy, had committed a suicide by hanging herself with a headscarf from the furniture of the living room. External examination revealed no traces of violence on his body.
Necessary measures are being undertaken to reveal the circumstances of the girl’s death.
