The International Cooperation and Public relations Department of the RA Judicial department informs that on 19 and 20 January, the Chairman of the RA Cassation Court Arman Mkrtumyan introduced the newly appointed Judge of the Courts of the First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Ajapnyak and Davitashen Administrative Districts Gor Torosyan, to the Chairman and judges of the same court; the newly appointed Judges of the Courts of the First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts Hovik Shahnazaryan and Arthur Stepanyan, to the Chairman and judges of the same court; the newly appointed Judge of the Courts of the First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative Districts Tatevik Stepanyan, to the Chairman and judges of the same court; the newly appointed Judge of the Courts of the First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts Hayarpy Zargaryan, to the Chairman and judges of the same court; the newly appointed Judges of the Courts of the First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Ararat and Vayits Dzor marzes Samvel Matinyan, Sergey Sahakyan and Harutyun Petrosyan, to the Chairman and judges of the same court.
The above mentioned judges were appointed to the posts of the Judges of respective courts according to the 24 December 2014 Decree NH-655-A of the RA President.
The Chairman of the RA Cassation Court congratulated the newly appointed judges, highly appreciated their knowledge and education, and expressed the hope that they will show a responsible approach to their mission.
At the end of the ceremony a working meeting was held, during which a number of issues of the judicial system were discussed.
