The health condition of the 6-month-old minor Armen Avetisyan, born in 2014, who survived after the brutal murder act of the family on 12 January, is assessed as grave. Ashot Kurghinyan, the head of “Gyumri Austrian mother and child” hospital provided this information.
“His health condition is considered as serious stable. The child is in the resuscitation department for treatment. All necessary steps are taken, the child was operated on. He is under our control,” Mr. Kirghinyan said.
He also said that the Inspection Commission, which works on the instruction of the RA Minister of Health, assessed the child’s treatment capacity as adequate. “Currently the council of physicians is deciding the future treatment of the child,” Mr. Kirghinyan added.
