On 12 January, The Deputy Foreign Minister of the RA met with the Russian Ambassador Ivan Volinkin, the Press Service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs. The source reports that both sides are concerned about the brutal murder of Avetisyan’s Family in Gyumri on 12 January.
The Russian ambassador expressed his condolences over the incident and said that the Russian side is interested in revealing the details and punishing the perpetrators as soon as possible.
He emphasized that the leadership of the Russian military base in Gyumri, fully cooperates with law enforcement authorities of Armenia and supports the investigation.
