Today the Civil Initiative “We Demand to punish all Culprits of Harsnaqar Incident” organized a protest action in front of the RA Police Building demanding to provide all documents and materials referring the case of Vahe Avetyan, the military doctor who died in result of violent beating in “Harsnaqar” Restaurant Complex, to the advocates of the successor of the victim. The Police had not provided the required documents to them.
According to the participants of the protest action, negligence of ensuring efficient trial of the advocates of the victim’s successor is incompatible with multiple assurances of the police to ensure public trial of the case.
