The Citizens’ protest action against Armenia’s joining the Customs Union started from the Freedom Square. David Sanasaryan, member of Yerevan Council of Elderly announced in the Freedom Square that organizing the visit of the RF President Vladimir Putin on 2 December was intentional, as Armenia was sovietized just on 2 December 1920. Later the police car entered the Freedom Square and announced that the meeting was illegal and this caused discontent of the participants. They began shout to shout and whistle. At this moment the citizens are moving in the direction of the Northern Avenue – Republic Square. A great number of policemen are accompanying them.
