Stories of Survivors” documentary project of Iravaban.net that he is from the village of Shekher in Martunu region and was displaced from there on 27 September, 2020, as a result of the aggression unleashed by the enemy.
According to him, they moved to Martuni, and began a new life, built a new home, but they had to leave it on 19 September.
“We left, ran away. We have traveled for 2 days. They made it so that the Armenians could not escape. The road that leads to Kornidzor, no matter how you stop or park the car, it will slide and fall into the ravine. It was death for Armenians. There is no terrorist like Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijanis were checking at the checkpoint, they spoke in Turkish, we started talking too, they said: run away, leave quickly. They asked my name, I said in Turkish: ‘Soldier’,” he said.
Zhora Avanesyan said that his wife was killed during the 2020 war. “When our house was hit by a “Grad”, my wife’s heart did not stand it.”
