Military figure Gevorg Gevorgyan told Iravaban.net that the Armenian people did not appreciate the victory recorded in the first Artsakh war.

“When the victory of 1990-1994 was given to us from above, we did not appreciate that victory and attributed it to ourselves, our ambition, and our arrogance. We came to the point that in 2018, the destruction of statehood was started with the help of various forces,” he said.

According to him, today’s situation is the result of 30 years of omissions.

“Not only the Turk is our enemy, but we ourselves are our enemy. We are our enemy until this moment. We are not able to complete the struggle for the existence of the people, because everyone strives for power. Who needs the government, if you do not have a state,” Gevorg Gevorgyan said.
