The Central Electoral Commission informs that according to the Constitutional Law Electoral Code, foreigners have the right to vote as well, if they have at least one year of records of the given community.

Identity documents for foreign citizens are considered:

• Temporary residence card certifying legal residence in the Republic of Armenia,
• Permanent residence card,
• Special passport of the Republic of Armenia,
• Passport certifying the citizenship of the Russian Federation for citizens of the Russian Federation, with a note on registration in the State Register of Yerevan Municipality.

For stateless persons:

• Residence certificate of a stateless person permanently residing in the Republic of Armenia,
  temporary residence card,
• Special passport of the Republic of Armenia.

For persons recognized as refugees:

• Conventional travel document.
• Information about foreign citizens is managed by the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Please note that, the voting for the elections of the Yerevan Council of Elders will be held on 17 September.
