The 35th International Olympiad in Informatics , in which 355 students from 89 countries participated was held in Szeged, Hungary, from 28 August to 4 September, 2023. Each country could represent a maximum of 4 students.
The Olympic team of Armenia was represented by the students of the A. Shahinyan special physics school (Samvel Abelyan, 12th grade and Tsovak Yegoryan, 10th grade) and Kvant College (Hamlet Petrosyan, 12th grade and Gagik Gevorgyan, 10th grade).
Tsovak Yegoryan and Samvel Abelyan, students of the special physics school named after A.Shahinyan, as well as Gagik Gevorgyan, a student of Quantum College from the RA team, won bronze medals.
Armen Andreasyan and Samvel Andreasyan from YSU led the Armenian team.
The Olympiad was held in 2 rounds, each with 3 tasks.
Let us remind that in 2022 the Armenian team won 2 bronze medals at the 34th International Olympiad in Informatics, which was held in Indonesia.
