The Current Humanitarian Crisis in Artsakh is getting Worse, causing New Serious Problems: Center for Cooperation with the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent in Nagorno Karabakh

It is the second day that Azerbaijan has completely banned all humanitarian passenger and cargo transportation through the Kashatagh (Lachin) corridor, under the pretext of the situation caused by the Azerbaijani provocation on the Artsakh-Armenia border a day before.

Center for Cooperation with the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent in Nagorno Karabakh reported.

Yesterday and today, due to urgent humanitarian needs, the very limited transportation of people accompanied by Russian peacekeepers along the Stepanakert-Goris-Stepanakert route did not take place, as well as the transportation of food, fuel, medicine and other essential goods by the vehicles of Russian peacekeepers was not carried out for two days.

As a result of all this, the current humanitarian crisis in Artsakh is worsening, causing new difficult problems and conditions for the population.

The public will be additionally informed in case there is information about humanitarian transportation through Kashatagh (Lachini) corridor.
