There is a vacant position of journalist (FULL DAY) at the Iravaban.net news website operated by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
Responsibilities:
- Publication of the operative newsfeed on the website,
- Preparation of text and multimedia materials,
- Translation of materials from international media,
- Perform other professional tasks on the managers’ assignment.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian (knowledge of Russian and English will be an advantage),
- Motivation to learn more, develop own knowledge and abilities,
- Willingness and ability to work diligently,
- Teamwork skills,
- Activity, working flexibility and quick orientation at work in different situations,
- Work experience in the field of journalism will be considered an advantage,
- Knowledge of photo and video shooting, as well as knowledge of computer software needed for photo and video editing will be an advantage.
3rd and 4th year students of journalism faculties can also apply for a job. The work will be mainly in the evening hours.
