We have a serious problem: people who live in Armenia really do not understand to 100% what the blockade means, it is very important for people to understand the difficulties of the blockade, Artsakh Minister of State Ruben Vardanyan stated at the press conference held today.
“The response to the situation should have been heard more loudly from non-governmental organizations, state bodies, and the National Assembly, because it is really difficult to make that voice heard in the world. This is not a normal situation, this is a situation that requires extraordinary steps,” Ruben Vardanyan said.
In response to the question ‘what he expects from the Armenian Government’, Vardanyan answered:
“The Government of Armenia has already announced its position. They provide financial and legal support and say that we can do this much, we cannot do more. It doesn’t matter what we expect, they have given their answer that we can do this much. We are grateful for that, but in this situation we need help in more directions. They said, “We can do this much.”
