In an extraordinary session, the National Assembly discusses the issue of the selection of candidates nominated for the vacant position of the judge of the judicial staff of the Anti-Corruption Chamber of the Court of Cassation.

The Supreme Judicial Council nominated Liza Grigoryan, Lilit Khachatryan and Arman Kurekhyan for the vacancy of the judge of the Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation.

It should be noted that the opposition “Armenia” Faction does not participate in the discussion of the issue. After the discussion and voting for several draft laws, the Secretary of the Faction Artsvik Minasyan said in his speech that the next issues on the agenda refer to the appointment of positions.

“And since, in my estimation, these are essentially appointments made by one political force, the “Armenia” Faction will not participate in the voting for the appointment of positions,” he noted.
