The Armenian side has received the proposals of Azerbaijan, which, in fact, are a response to the proposals of the Armenian side. Eduard Aghajanyan, Deputy of the “Civil Contract” Party, said during the press conference of the members of the NA delegation to the OSCE PA, referring to the statement of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov that Baku has prepared a draft peace settlement agreement and presented it to the Armenian side.
“Yes, it’s true, the Armenian side has received the proposals of Azerbaijan, which, in fact, are a response to the proposals of the Armenian side, that is, it can be said that the third stage of these proposals is being discussed. And since these are details that are not subject to publication, I cannot reveall them, but, yes, the Armenian side has received the counter proposals from Azerbaijan,” Aghajanyan said.
Bayramov also stated that the third round of negotiations on the draft peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan could take place by the end of the year. In response to the journalist’s question whether it is possible for a meeting or negotiations to take place at the level of the country’s leaders or foreign ministers before the end of the year, Aghajanyan said.
“As for a possible meeting at the level of the country’s leaders or foreign ministers before the end of the year, I think, yes, it cannot be ruled out,” Aghajanyan said.
