The USA wants stability in the Caucasus region. Ned Price, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State announced during the briefing.
“We have made clear our interest in seeing a stable Caucasus region, a region that – where we work both with Armenia and Azerbaijan to de-escalate tensions between those two countries and to work to de-escalate any broader tensions that may arise,” Price said.
Answering the journalist’s question, he said that he does not have a clear comment regarding Iran’s military exercises on Azerbaijan’s border and the complaints in Baku.
