More than 1.2 million people have been forced to flee Ukraine

According to the UN, more than 1.2 million people have been forced to flee Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression.

As Ukrinform cited, the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security reported in Telegram.

In particular, according to the UN, 650 thousand Ukrainians left for Poland, 145 thousand for Romania, 103 thousand for Moldova, 90 thousand for Slovakia.

In addition, many families have fled their homes and moved to other cities in Ukraine.

As reported by “Ukrinform”, on 4 March, the EU Council unanimously voted in favor of the decision to introduce a temporary protection system for Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war.
