“Dear colleagues, you will remember that we applied to the Constitutional Court on the issue of the constitutionality of the age limit for law scholars of the Supreme Judicial Council. The problem simply concerns the impossibility of Gagik Jhangiryan taking office. The Constitutional Court, having started the examination of the case (the issue of constitutionality is obvious), surprisingly decided to postpone it until 19 April, 2022. “The need for further research” was cited as a justification. In another case, the election of the NA President was postponed because the respondent had to prepare for the oral sitting.

Summing up two cases in the Constitutional Court in April, about the lack of constitutionality of the tenure of two officials.
