We express concern over the criminal prosecution and deprivation of immunity (including personal liberty) of Judge Boris Bakhshiyan of the Court of First Instance of Syunik Marz, by the Prosecutor’s Office and the NSS Investigation Department, in connection with the judicial prosecution process, which is conditioned by the judge’s activities.

Aleksander Azaryan, Chairman of the Association of Judges issued a statement about this

“We are closely following the further developments, if necessary we will make a corresponding statement,” he said.
