Vahagn Aleksanyan quoted an excerpt from Robert Kocharyan’s letter to Erdoğan

“Dear Prime Minister,

I have received your letter. As two neighbors, we must work to find ways to live together. That is why from the first day we stretched our hand to establish relations, to open the border, to start a dialogue between the two peoples of the two countries,” Vahagn Aleksanyan, MP of the “Civil Contract” Faction of the National Assembly, during his speech at the National Assembly read an excerpt from a letter of the Second President of the RA Robert Kocharyan addressed to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in 2005.

He noted that there was no article or publication in the media until August 2011, when WikiLeaks published it.

“What did the Armenian society know about this? What was the ARF parliamentary faction doing at that time?  Now these people are criticizing open dialogue for being secretive. Please put an end to this hypocrisy,” Aleksanyan said.
