On 11 January, at around 3:15 pm, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on the Armenian military positions located in the Verin Shorzha section of Gegharkunik region, as a result of which one serviceman received a moderate gunshot wound.
The enemy’s fire was silenced by the retaliatory actions of the Armenian side.
The Press Service of the Ministry of Defense reported.
As of 17:00, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and under the full control of the RA Armed Forces.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported the death of its serviceman Ayaz Nazarov Azer oglu, allegedly due to the shooting of the RA Armed Forces.
