Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu sent a congratulatory message to RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan. The message in particular, reads:

I congratulate you on your appointment to the post of Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. I express my conviction that your activity in this highly responsible position will contribute to the strengthening and further development of friendly relations between the defense ministries of our countries for the benefit of peace and international security.

Dear Suren Rafikovich, I wish you good health and fruitful work for the benefit of the Republic of Armenia.”
