The leader of the “Bright Armenia” Party Edmon Marukyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“Discussing the legal basis of the agreement with Russia in the field of security cooperation, the “Bright Armenia” Faction came to the conclusion during the 44-day war that it is more expedient to apply to the Russian Federation based on the provisions of the Agreement on the Joint Grouping of the RA Armed Forces and the RF Armed Forces, signed in Moscow on 30 November, 2016.

This letter is still relevant, taking into account the fact that the military aggression is taking place against the sovereign territory of the internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Armenia.
