According to the information from the Military Prosecutor’s Office, as a result of joint measures of the Military Police and the Investigation Service of the RA Defense Ministry, on 12.06.2013 at 11:30am, Major Vahan Harutyunyan, Head of the 2nd Investigation Department of the 1st Garrison of the RA Defense Ministry and Advocate Azat Avagimyan were arrested at the moment of giving and taking bribe.
The Information Service of the RA Ministry of defense informs that a criminal case was initiated. The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Investigation Service of the RA Ministry of Defense. After carrying out the urgent investigative actions the criminal case will be referred to the Special Investigation Service of the RA.
