Former Chairman of the Public Council Styopa Safaryan wrote on his Facebook page:
“Sir Adam Thomson, the former United Kingdom Ambassador to NATO and now the Director of the European Leadership Network, has responded to a fake article published on his behalf, in which he allegedly represents the great and long-standing interest of Britain and NATO in the Zangezur Corridor.
Sir Thomson in particular wrote: “I do not have a personal blog, and one that’s recently been created in my name is fake and will be reported to the police. I encourage others to be vigilant for similar fake websites.”
The fake article was even published on a Persian-language website, causing great concern in Iran. It is not difficult to imagine which countries are behind this falsification.”
