RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan wrote on his Facebook page,

“I reaffirm my statement yesterday that the Azerbaijani servicemen are deliberately setting fires from vicinity of their tents near villages of Sotk-Kut in Gegharkunik.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan today issued an official statement denying the undeniable facts I have published.

All these facts were passed on to the ombudsman’s staff by the villagers. We have thoroughly verified this from several sources, including objective evidence.

Yesterday, we decided not to publish all of them, but after today’s denial of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, I am publishing an additional video-proof that was made from the village of Kut yesterday, at around 10:30 p.m.

So, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan intends to cover up their criminal acts against the civilian population of the Republic of Armenia, especially in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, and their armed forces must rule out violations of the rights of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
