The Taliban have entered the presidential palace in Kabul

The militants of the radical Taliban (banned in the Russian Federation) entered the presidential palace in Kabul, Reuters reports.

According to the agency, there is currently no approval from the Afghan government.

Earlier it was reported that the President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani has left the country for Tajikistan, from where he will go to a third country.

On the afternoon of 15 August, the Taliban announced their occupation of the entire territory of Afghanistan. The militants arrived at the presidential palace in Kabul to hold talks with the country’s leaders on the transfer of power. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has agreed to resign.
