Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan issued a statement stating:
“Dear compatriots!
As I promised, I would like to inform you that as a witness I was interrogated by the investigators of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Artsakh Republic in the criminal case initiated under Article 312, Part 1 (Changing of the Constitutional Order) of the Criminal Code of the Artsakh Republic.
Taking into account the importance of this case, I have provided all the information I have on the issues raised and reaffirmed my readiness to continue participating in the proceedings in the manner provided by law.
“Understanding the most important period of life in our homeland, the public demand to reveal the true course of events related to the 44-day war and the cause-and-effect relations, I will soon present some answers to some questions within the limits of my real authority and awareness,” he said.
