“Different political forces, figures, individuals make various comments, clarifications and analyzes on the deadlines for the President of the Republic to apply to the Constitutional Court. By manipulating this issue, a misconception is formed that 9 March  is the deadline to apply to the Constitutional Court.

We inform that such opinions are unfounded: there is no deadline to apply to the Constitutional Court, and the President of the Republic will soon apply to the Constitutional Court with a request to decide on the compatibility of the Law on Military Service with the status of a serviceman, which has already been announced.

The President of the Republic once again calls on everyone to be calm, sober and restrained,” the statement reads.
