“At the moment, a departmental group is working along the entire border, that is, legal documents on the whole border are being prepared for the forthcoming talks, which will most likely take place this year through the mediation of Russian partners between the two sides. At the moment, the legal border between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not final. And we have brought out all the legal documents and maps that will be the basis for those negotiations. Negotiations with that agenda will take place in the coming weeks. As for the actual deployment of the armed forces, at the moment we have representatives of the armed forces in different positions inside the village of Tegh. And the final deployments across the border will take place as a result of agreements and negotiations.”
The Deputy Prime Minister assured that nothing has been conceded from the RA border and, it cannot be conceded.
“The legal border, as such, must be accepted by both sides as a final document as a result of negotiations,” he added.
