The RA Ministry of Defense denies the rumors about breaking the gate leading to Karvach. Final border adjustment works are underway. In a conversation with “Armenpress” the head of the information and public relations department of the RA Ministry of Defense gevorg Altunyan said, referring to the spread information that the Azeris broke the gate.

“Of course, there is no question of breaking the gate. The issue of the final adjustment of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is being discussed there via satellite communication, and GPS navigators. These works are underway, there is no talk of breaking gates,” Altunyan said.

He clarified the problem. “Since Armenia has not had a border with Azerbaijan in that direction until now, that is, Artsakh has been after Armenia, now there is a problem of adjusting the border. That work is being carried out.”
