Armenia will receive 50,000 new antigen tests to fight Covid-19.
The Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated this today, on 9 November, during the joint sitting of the standing committees of the National Assembly.
“I want to announce news, which will probably lead to a reduction in the price of PCR tests; it is the introduction of a new type of antigen tests in Armenia. These tests detect the virus faster: they are likely to change the structure of the market and people as well as medical organizations will start using them. There is a tendency in the world, and we will receive 50 thousand such tests soon. Those tests will be done free of charge,” Torosyan said.
