Today, the Human Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan had a working meeting with the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Andrea Wiktorin.
During the meeting, Arman Tatoyan presented facts about the atrocities and crimes committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces against civilians, including the use of prohibited weapons and the destruction of civilian infrastructure.
The Defender informed the Ambassador that there were 2 killed and 2 wounded among the population of Armenia, as well as damaged houses. According to the Artsakh Human Rights Defender, there are at least 40 killed and more than 120 wounded in Artsakh.
The parties stressed the importance of cooperation between the two institutions and agreed to deepen cooperation on human rights issues.
