Armenia has appealed to NATO over the use of the alliance’s weapons in Karabakh

Armenia at the level of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, directed questions to NATO.

In particular, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian said in an interview with Kommersant on Sunday whether the bloc’s leadership had agreed to use its weapons in Nagorno Karabakh.

“We need to clarify whether the bloc’s leadership has given Turkey the green light to do what it is doing now. This is not just about the F-16. The main Turkish drone, the Bayraktar, is used extensively every day not only against the front, but also against the civilian population. This is a NATO product. Separate parts of it have been created in different NATO countries, from Austria to Canada,” Sarkissian said.

“These questions, of course, are asked by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. Armenia, like many other countries, has partnership relations with NATO.”Questions are asked at this level,” he said.
