The head of the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan, Avet Poghosyan, reports that despite the fact that the city services work in an emergency mode, the planned work is carried out 100%.
“Today, I consider the work of the fountain near the monument to Vazgen Sargsyan very symbolic,” from now on the residents and guests of our city can use this fountain.”
“We are continuing the victorious war of the 90s and we are bringing to life right now Vazgen Sargsyan’s words that the 21st century will be ours,” the head of the administrative district said.
Avet Poghosyan also said that Vazgen Sargsyan not only conducted military operations on the front, but also had to fight against the enemies of Armenia in the rear. “At that time, the military-political leadership was also engaged in that; we must always remember that Vazgen Sargsyan did not die on the front, but died in Yerevan. It is during this martial law that we must be more careful about those who spread defeatist moods, those who spread false information. In that sense, Vazgen Sargsyan’s calls are very relevant now,” he said.
