This morning the hostilities resumed with a new impetus both in the north and in the south. The representative of the Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan stated about this during the press conference.

“Even today, there were more military operations in the north than the day before, but there were heavier, more persistent battles in the southern direction. The Armenian Armed Forces continue to resist the enemy, giving the necessary counterattack and throwing back their starting positions,” he said.

Today, the Azerbaijani official circles and the media announced that they had captured Jabrayil, Hadrut and the neighboring villages. Hovhannisyan mentioned that it is, to put it mildly, ridiculous, because he was in Hadrut at that very moment, there is no such thing.

“Moreover, in that particular direction, that is, north of the near the Araks valley, there were no active military operations at all,” he said.

Artsrun Hovhannisyan also noted that Aliyev had stated things that did not correspond to reality.
