According to the Aresakh Defense Army, on 6 October, the enemy used the relative calm,  following the statement of the Foreign Ministers of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries, tried to regroup and move to the north-south direction of the front. The actions of the enemy also posed a threat to the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Defense Army fighters neutralized all the attempts of the Azerbaijani armed forces to advance with strong counterattacks. During the battles, a large number of troops, armored vehicles, artillery, other weapons and military equipment were destroyed.

The units of the Defense Army also managed to significantly improve their own tactics. During the night, the enemy attempted to advance in a south-easterly direction. Enemy attacking units were destroyed by rocket fire. At around 06:30 in the morning, another artillery shelling of the Defense Army units led to the demoralization of the enemy group and a panicked escape.

The enemy left more than 60 casualties on the battlefield, several dozen damaged equipment. A large warehouse of enemy fuel and lubricants was also hit.

The Defense Army is confident in the operative-tactical situation, ready for any development of the situation.
