Today, on 6 October, the special session of the Council of Elders of Yerevan began with a minute of silence respecting the memory of the victims.

“We all know that we are at war, no one doubts our victory, I want no one to doubt that we will restore the infrastructure of all our cities and villages damaged by the enemy, and for that very intensive work is needed.”

The mayor said that the Council of Elders is discussing the issue of providing assistance to Stepanakert by Yerevan at the special sitting; all the factions have given their verbal consent.

According to the decision, 100 million drams were allocated from the administrative part of the reserve fund of the 2020 budget of the city of Yerevan for the implementation of capital works of the damaged civil infrastructure objects as a result of targeting the capital of the Artsakh Republic Stepanakert.
