Spokeswoman for the RA Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan issued a statement, which reads:

“Hard hot battles are taking place in the northern-western directions of the Artsakh border. The enemy, concentrating great forces in these areas, launched an attack. Armenian units stop the enemy’s advance, causing great losses.”

Artsrun Hovhannisyan, Deputy Head of the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University, reports:

“The enemy has introduced new forces in the battle. We show heroic resistance.”
