“Fighting is still going on on the Artsakh-Azerbaijani line of contact, night battles are taking place in some parts,” Suren Sarumyan, acting head of the information department of the Artsakh Defense Army, said this during a press conference.
“Currently, military operations are going on, night battles are taking place in some parts. The enemy has new losses. According to the adjusted data, the number of their losses has increased. One helicopter, 3 tanks, 2 engineering armored vehicles and 7 UAVs. In other words, in general, the Armenian side destroyed 4 enemy helicopters, 33 tanks and armored personnel carrier, 27 UAVs and 2 engineering armored vehicles,” Sarumyan mentioned.
It should be reminded that in the early morning of 27 September, Azerbaijan started active shelling along the line of contact with Artsakh. Peaceful settlements, including the capital Stepanakert, are also being shelled. The Azerbaijani armed forces lost 4 helicopters, 27 UAVs, 33 tanks, a rear combat vehicle, as well as 2 engineering armored vehicles. The first victims of the Azerbaijani attack were a woman and a child in the Martuni region. According to preliminary data, the Armenian side has 16 victims, more than 100 wounded with various degrees of bodily injuries.
