Judge Alexander Merangulyan’s Authorities Suspended

On March 20, President of the Republic of Armenia suspended the authorities of  Alexander Merangulyan, judge of the First Instance Court of Erebuni and Nubarshen Administrative Districts of Yerevan.

The Council of Justice considered the issue of calling the judge to responsibility found that Judge Merangulyan violated the judicial norms as he failed to stop the civil case YED/0997/02/11, which is considered gross violation of Article 153, part 2 Clause 2.

The judge met the claim under the conditions when there was a judicial act in force referring to the same dispute between the same persons.
