Attorney from a Foreign Country

An attorney from a foreign county carries out his/her activities in the Republic of Armenia based on a license provided by a corresponding body of his state and must be accredited in the order provided by the Statute of the Chamber of Advocates of the RA.

The procedure of accreditation and termination of the accreditation is provided by the Board of the Chamber of Advocates of the RA. The Board may terminate the accreditation in case where the advocate from a foreign country infringes the requirements of the law, as well as the requirements of the statute of the Chamber of Advocates of the RA, and/or the requirements of the Code of Conduct of the Advocate. For accreditation the advocate pays a fee determined by the Board of the Chamber of Advocates of the RA. The attorney from a foreign country carries out his/her responsibilities in Armenia pursuant to the requirements of the Republic of Armenia Law on Advocacy, the Statute of the Chamber of Advocate of the RA and the Code of Conduct of the Advocate, unless otherwise specified by the international treaties of the Republic of Armenia.
