President of the RA National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia. The message says:

“30 years ago, on this day, the deputies of the newly elected Supreme Council, expressing the united will of the people of Armenia, affirmed the sovereign right of our fathers, us and our children to live and create in independent Armenia. The Declaration of Independence of Armenia is the best expression of the pan-national aspirations of all Armenians, which has been, is and will be the most accurate document expressing the public and political relations of the Republic of Armenia, to which we must always return to understand the direction we are moving as a state and society.”
