The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan called on the students to be voluntarily self-isolated or to limit their contacts.

“Dear parents, pupils and students, we have already informed that the educational process in universities and general educational institutions starts in the second half of September (except for the first-year students).

In order to fully implement the educational process throughout the year, to avoid new restrictions, please provide limited communication between students and pupils in the period of 1-14 September, so that we can cut the chains of the epidemic as much as possible and not bring the virus to school from the first day of its launch, helping the health system to further reduce the number of infected people.

Significant restrictions on communication will likely help to continue the learning process without deviations, with already approved schedules and programs.
