The Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan addressed a message of condolences and support to the Mayor of Beirut Jamal Itani.

“On behalf of myself and the people of Yerevan, I express my deepest condolences on the tragic explosion in Beirut.

We are sorry for what happened and mourn the many human losses together with the people of Beirut.

We are confident that the sister city of Yerevan, Beirut, will overcome this catastrophe and emerge stronger and firmer from this ordeal,” he said.
