Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan reports:

“After the explosion in the port of Beirut, the devastation in the Armenian-populated areas, as well as in the whole of Beirut, is extensive. Buildings collapsed, churches were damaged, and the building of Haigazian University was damaged as well. At the moment, we have information about three dead Armenians, about 100 injured. But these numbers, unfortunately, can increase, because the number of missing people is large.

At present, together with our partners, various scenarios of providing targeted first aid to the brotherly people of Lebanon are being considered and evaluated.”
