The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon is in touch with the relevant Lebanese bodies and the heads of local community structures. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The devastation is significant in the Armenian-populated districts, as well as in the whole of Beirut. At the moment, there is preliminary information about the death of one Armenian, there are also several Armenians with various injuries, mainly in the houses, from the breaking of glass.

The building of the RA Embassy in Lebanon was partially damaged by the explosion.

The details of the possible victims, the wounded, the devastation caused by the explosion are being clarified, additional information will be provided about them.

According to NA deputy Hrachya Hakobyan, there are 2 Armenians among the wounded.
