In the updated list, the Council of the European Union is in favor of opening the borders with Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.

China is also considered a safe country, but air communication with China will be restored when the country opens its borders with the EU. Notably, the EU Council published the first list of opening the border for non-member states on 30 June, Georgia was on that list as well.

On 8 June, Georgia opened its borders to several EU member states: Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Please note that all this is connected with the coronavirus.
