Today, Syunik Governor Hunan Poghosyan visited “Kapan” Medical Center. The governor toured the departments, as well as met with the management of the MC and the representatives of the medical staff.
Hunan Poghosyan thanked the presents for the work done in these conditions of the state of emergency, discussed with them the current state of the fight against the epidemic, a number of issues related to the effectiveness of treatment of patients and further actions.
“Kapan” Medical Center informs that at the moment there is the following picture of the spread of a new coronavirus disease in Syunik region.
- A total of 250 confirmed cases,
- 3 deaths were registered,
- 151 people were treated.
96 people are sick, of which:
- 34 people are hospitalized in “Kapan” Medical Center,
- 1 person is hospitalized in Yerevan,
- 61 asymptomatic patients are isolated at home.
Patients by communities:
- 16 people from Kapan,
- 11 people from Goris,
- 48 people from Sisian,
- 17 people from Meghri,
- 1 person from Tatev,
- 3 people from Gorayk.
“Dear citizens of Syunik!
The new outbreaks of the infection in Sisian and Meghri are result of the reckless assemblies, birth parties, dirge and etc … Therefore, we demand again and again not to ignore our appeals, to follow the established rules, not to organize and participate in mass events, to strictly observe the rules of wearing personal protective equipment and personal hygiene.
And especially to our young citizens, taking into account our monitoring of their behavior, we urge them to treat the police officers and the representatives of the state inspection bodies carrying out inspections and control functions in accordance with the law,” the statement of the “Kapan” Medical Center reads.
